Q1: Who are you, and how would you describe yourself to someone who doesn’t know you?
I am Claudia Umuhire, a Rwandan actress with a deep passion for the screen and a soul that feels most alive in the wild. Above all, I am a devoted Christian who loves Jesus Christ. I value peace deeply—where there is peace, that’s where you will find me.
Q2: How did your journey into acting, zoology, and content creation begin?
My journey began when I moved from my hometown in Rwanda’s Western Province to Kigali after earning a bursary to study Zoology and Conservation at the University of Rwanda, Nyarugenge Campus. It was a big transition for me. Back in the village, a friend and I used to create small films just for fun. When I got to Kigali, I randomly met a top movie director known as “Killaman.” I showed him one of our village projects, and he saw potential in me. He gave me an opportunity to join his team as an actress. From that moment, I’ve been balancing zoology, acting, scriptwriting, and content creation.

Q3: What inspired you to start the Sisters Vibe YouTube platform?
The inspiration came from a desire to show the true power of sisterhood—that when women genuinely support each other, incredible things happen. Sisterhood, to me, is not about blood, but about soul. I also wanted a space where my friend and I could be ourselves freely, beyond just acting roles in movies.
Q4: How do you balance being an actress, a zoologist, and a content creator?
Balancing everything comes down to doing what needs to be done at the right time. I prioritize my responsibilities and remain disciplined. Most importantly, I make sure to take care of myself, especially my mental health.

Q5: Which of your passions do you feel most connected to, and why?
I feel deeply connected to both acting and zoology in different ways. Acting allows me to express emotions and tell stories that inspire others, while zoology connects me to nature and purpose beyond myself. Together, they reflect both my creative and intellectual sides.

Q6: What challenges have you faced along your journey, and how did you overcome them?
One of the biggest challenges has been balancing multiple passions while adjusting to a new environment in Kigali. It wasn’t always easy managing school, acting, and content creation. However, I overcame this by staying focused, believing in my purpose, and trusting God through every step of the journey.

Q7: What message or impact do you hope to create through your work and platform?
I hope to inspire people—especially young women—to believe in themselves and embrace all their passions. Through my work, I want to promote authenticity, faith, and the beauty of supporting one another. My goal is to create a positive impact that encourages others to live boldly and purposefully.
