- Who are you, and how would you describe yourself as a model, stylist, and designer?
A: My name is Emma Njoroge. I’m a fashion designer, stylist, and model who believes fashion is a powerful way to express confidence and identity. As a designer, I love turning fabric into beautiful pieces. As a stylist, I enjoy helping people discover looks that reflect who they truly are. And as a model, I bring those creative visions to life. - What inspired you to start your journey in modeling, styling, and fashion design?
A: My journey started from my love for creativity and self-expression. I’ve always been fascinated by fabrics, colors, and how clothing can transform how someone feels. Over time I decided to study fashion and start designing, and that passion naturally expanded into styling and modeling as well. - How would you describe your personal fashion style and creative vision?
A: My style is confident, elegant, and expressive. I love pieces that make a statement while still feeling authentic. My creative vision is to design outfits that empower people and allow them to stand out while still feeling comfortable in their own skin. - What do you enjoy most about working in the fashion and modeling industry?
A: What I enjoy most is the creativity and transformation. Taking a piece of fabric and turning it into something beautiful is very fulfilling. I also love seeing people feel confident and happy in something I designed or styled. - Which designers, models, or creatives have influenced your fashion journey the most?
A: I’m inspired by creatives who are bold and original in their work. Designers who push boundaries and models who carry confidence and authenticity motivate me to keep growing and creating my own unique style. - What challenges have you faced in the fashion industry, and how have you overcome them?
Like many creatives, one of the biggest challenges has been starting with limited resources and building everything step by step. I’ve overcome this by staying consistent, learning continuously, and believing in my vision even when the journey feels slow. - How do you balance being a model, stylist, and designer at the same time?
For me, they actually complement each other. Designing helps me understand garments deeply, styling helps me see how pieces work together, and modeling helps me present the final vision. Together they create a complete creative process. - What message or advice would you like to share with young people who dream of joining the fashion industry?
Believe in your vision and start with what you have. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect. Learn, practice, and stay consistent. Fashion is about creativity and confidence, so always stay true to your own style and voice.
