- What inspired you to pursue a career in fashion and commercial modeling?
I’ve always been drawn to creativity and self-expression. My love for art, especially sketching and
painting, taught me to appreciate composition, emotion, and storytelling through visuals. Modeling
became a natural extension of that passion because it allows me to become part of the artwork itself.
Every photoshoot or campaign is an opportunity to create something meaningful while helping brands
communicate their message in a powerful and authentic way. - How has living in Nairobi influenced your modeling journey and personal style?
Nairobi has exposed me to an incredible community of creatives—from designers and photographers to
artists and stylists. Being surrounded by so much talent has inspired me to continuously grow and
embrace versatility. My artistic background also influences my personal style, as I’m naturally drawn to
pieces with unique textures, colors, and details while maintaining an elegant and timeless look.

3. What has been your most memorable modeling project so far, and why?
Every project has contributed to my growth, but the most memorable ones are those where creativity and storytelling come together. I especially enjoy campaigns that allow me to express emotion and connect with a brand’s vision. As someone who appreciates art, it’s incredibly rewarding to watch an idea evolve from concept into a finished campaign that inspires and resonates with people.
4. How do you prepare for photoshoots, runway shows, or commercial campaigns?
Preparation is something I take seriously. I always take time to understand the brand’s vision and the story they want to tell. Before every assignment, I ensure I’m well-rested, hydrated, and mentally prepared. I also practice posing and facial expressions while drawing inspiration from fashion editorials, art, and everyday life. Most importantly, I arrive on time, communicate openly with the creative team, and remain adaptable throughout the production process to achieve the best possible results.

5. What challenges have you faced in the modeling industry, and how have you overcome them?
The modeling industry is highly competitive, and standing out requires much more than appearance. I’ve learned that professionalism, consistency, and resilience are the qualities that build a lasting career. Every challenge has motivated me to improve my skills, strengthen my portfolio, and stay focused on delivering value to every client and creative team I work with.
6. How would you describe your fashion style when you’re off the runway?
My off-duty style is effortlessly elegant with a creative touch. I enjoy timeless pieces that can be styled in unique ways, often inspired by art, color, and texture. I believe fashion is another form of self-expression, and I love creating looks that feel authentic, confident, and refined.
7. What advice would you give to young aspiring models who want to build a successful career in Kenya?
Stay patient, remain professional, and believe in your unique qualities. Invest in developing your skills, build a strong portfolio, and never underestimate the importance of discipline and reliability. Your reputation can open more doors than your appearance alone. Be willing to learn, collaborate with others, and embrace every opportunity that helps you grow.

8. What are your future goals, and what exciting projects can your fans look forward to?
My goal is to work with leading fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and commercial brands across Africa and internationally while continuing to grow as both a model and a creative. I also hope to channel my passion for modeling and visual art into future projects that celebrate creativity and storytelling in unique ways. My audience can look forward to exciting collaborations, impactful campaigns, and creative work that reflects both my artistic vision and my commitment to excellence. I’m excited to keep pushing boundaries and creating work that leaves a lasting impression.
